Hi, My name is Damian.

I’m a humanistic and transpersonal therapist. I specialize in personal growth and life transitions, helping people to align their everyday lives with their deeper values and purpose

I have completed a Level 7 BACP-accredited training — a postgraduate-level (Master’s equivalent) qualification in counselling and psychotherapy.

Alongside my core training, I am also a 200-hour qualified yoga teacher, which informs my appreciation of the connection between mind, body, and emotional wellbeing. This perspective can support a more holistic approach to therapy where appropriate.

Since 2023, I have worked as a therapist across Central London and Sussex, supporting adults in both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. I have experience working with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and bereavement, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck or disconnected.

In addition to my clinical work, I bring professional experience from my role in a large corporate environment , where I have worked closely with individuals and teams managing complex situations, high-pressure environments, communication challenges, and emotional stress. This background gives me a grounded understanding of workplace pressures, leadership dynamics, and the impact of organisational life on mental health.

My work integrates humanistic and transpersonal approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique experience.

I offer both short-term focused therapy and longer-term psychotherapy, depending on your needs and what you are hoping to explore.

I have named my business ‘Hermeneia Therapy’.

Hermeneia (pronounced hur-may-NEE-uh) comes from Hermes- messenger to the Greek Gods. Hermes can be seen as the guide between worlds.

In therapy, he might be seen to safely guide you, the client, through your process

How I Work

I offer a calm, relational approach to therapy that looks beyond symptoms like anxiety, depression, or feeling overwhelmed, and focuses on you as a whole person.

We work at your pace, creating a space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin to make sense of your thoughts and emotions.

I’m not here to tell you who to be—but to support you in understanding yourself more fully, and finding a way forward that feels right for you

Ready to Talk?

If something in this has resonated, you’re welcome to get in touch. We can begin a conversation about what’s bringing you here, and whether this way of working feels right for you.
